Prevent Child Abuse Vermont offers a variety of FREE trainings (2-3 hour workshops) for educators, early care and education providers, parents, foster parents, and for those who work with families who are at high-risk. Our trainings are interactive and responsive to the needs of the participants and includes knowledge and skill-based training.
If you are an educator working in a school, you may be interested in the Care for Kids curriculum for children PK-2, the We Care Elementary program for grades 4-8, the SAFE-T program for middle school communities, or our technology safety program.
As an early care and education provider, you will see that all of our trainings described in this section are applicable for early childcare settings.
Parents and foster parents may also access our trainings through their early care and education provider, school, DCF regional office, or other non-profit agency.
Social workers and mental health counselors may also book a training through their agency.
Anyone interested in more information can feel free to contact us. We look forward to hearing from you.
